Annual Fundraising Events
Each year we host several events that are very successful and are an integral part of meeting our budgetary needs. We are most grateful to our supporters in our community who contribute to these annual events.
Knights of Columbus Sports Banquet
Each October the Knights of Columbus council #207 hosts a sports banquet with all the proceeds going to Tyburn. Each year a member of the Auburn community is honored who has had an impact on the sporting community. Also each year Jim Boeheim comes to speak with his coaching staff. CIAO and the Italian Kitchen Crew cooks a great meal and there is always a silent auction with many sports memorabilia items to win. Advertising opportunities are in our sponsor booklet.
Fr. Shamon Golf Tournament
More than 25 years ago Fr. Shamon started a Catholic Education Scholarship Fund to benefit Catholic schools in Auburn. Each August money is raised for this fund through a golf tournament at Dutch Hollow Golf Course. Hole sponsorships are available each year.
Annual Raffle
Each year we hold a raffle that gives away many cash prizes, with a Grand Prize of $10,000!
Spring Online Auction
Prior to Mother’s Day we host an online auction with a variety of goods, from scuba diving lessons, paddle boards, and tv’s.
